Herbal drink

Relax, but not through alcohol or sugar. 'The taste of our Verbena is close to a good, dry gin, especially with tonic added,' Rose Bax proudly explains. 'Alternatives to alcohol should still make you feel like you're drinking an adult beverage.'

In 2019, she started producing drinks with her partner Chris, who is a chef. Both are plant fanatics and own a forest where they teach sustainable wild picking. Distilling is done in the same way as vodka, gin or whisky, but with water without alcohol and flavoured with plant-based ingredients. After a difficult start in corona time, bars managed to get interested and now it is raining medals. Rose's recipes with herbs, roots, berries and flowers are secret, but you can taste citrus, mint, cool menthol from the fennel and aromatic lemongrass. The second variety of Sea Buckthorn is bittersweet with Mediterranean herbs and orange.
