Three separate companies: Blaser catering, Drechtfort and Sonah catering have joined hands. The Corona outbreak left these industrious businesses without income and no way to pursue their passions. But instead of lamenting, they 'put their heads together' and not entirely without success, Pop-up the Stelling is proving to be a great success! The French-oriented bistro is located in a truly beautiful spot in the countryside of Uithoorn. For both hot summer and rainy days, the covered terrace offers a place to enjoy the passion of these guys.
Eelco, owner of Sonah catering: "Wouter and I used to walk around Zijdelmeer during corona period and about 14 days before the catering business was allowed to open we came up with this idea and together with Henk we set up this restaurant in 8 days. From renting tents and crockery to making logos and the website. We were helped by a lot of people. A good friend of mine made all the logos and Loyals from Mijdrecht created a website at breakneck speed and everything Corona "proof". We just got started. High-quality dishes and wines combined with good service and price at one of the most beautiful locations in Uithoorn and perhaps surrounding areas. It's like being abroad. The entire terrace is covered with stretch tents so that you can actually sit outside every day and enjoy nature and the concept we have created. People really go out for an evening with us and that is also what we want."
