Dennis Moerdijk thus wins not only the Vinologist of the Year Challenge Trophy, a certificate, several bottles of wine from the range of the sponsor Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite, a long weekend to Chateau Lafite Rothschild in Pauillac but also the eternal fame that awaits the winner of the Lafite Laureate.

Also present at the presentation was Xuan Nguyen-Mazel, Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite's Business Development Manager Europe, who expressed her admiration for the achievements of those present and gave Dennis a warm welcome to Pauillac in advance.
On behalf of Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite, Xuan Nguyen Mazel presented the prize to the winners. In addition, Xuan provided the finalists with another wonderful master class featuring wines from Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite around the world. The impressive line-up included Château d'Aussières 2019, Los Vascos Le Dix 2019, Caro 2017, Château Lafite Rothschild 2006 and Château Rieussec 2009.
Host of the final, as usual, was De Monnik Dranken, which held its annual Wine Experience at Buitenplaats Kameryck in Kamerik, in the person of Bouke Wijlens.
