Our culinary pride Jonnie Boer is opening a new restaurant: Brass Boer Thuis. The location is the Nieuwe Markt in the heart of Zwolle and there will be dishes around 15 euros. So those who find the threshold of three-star restaurant De Librije too high can visit this brasserie. Of course, there will also be a careful selection of wines on offer including those of Thérèse Boer. Over a year ago, Jonnie and Thérèse, who are regular Bonaire visitors, opened their first Brass Boer on Bonaire's beach at the invitation of the new Delfins Beach resort. So now their own town follows, which is undergoing major renovations for the time being. If you can't wait until spring, dive into the new book Jonnie & Thérèse at home, written together with Joël Broekaert. Not a coffee-table book with restaurant recipes, but dishes that appear on the De Boers' table during the week, from beer-canned chicken to pasta with sausage.
