It's not time yet, but secretly we are long overdue for spring. That's why this slightly spring-like wine is in the Plus & Premium package. It is a true classic, which also does very well with drinks. Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand is just a little more pronounced in flavour than the version from the French Loire. It is a spicy, tight-dry wine that surprises you after pouring by going from very fresh to exotic in its flavour profile. You go from green apple, lime, gooseberry and something grassy to ripe apricot, lychee and pineapple. It therefore matches many different dishes. It is delicious with anything fished from the sea, but is also surprisingly tasty with a meal with spice. Think, for instance, of a dish with a Thai twist. We also find it delicious with a goat's cheese.
