Winter Rosé

Something to look forward to when the vineyards are bare and the terraces closed: Winter Rosé. Wine with a new flavour profile to match winter. After an extensive development process, Winter Rosé was created as a brand name - and also protected in Europe. Winter Rosé is a new concept that winemakers, importers and distributors can join. The research phase has been completed and Winter Rosé will be brought to the Dutch market after the summer. We always welcome innovations in the wine world and talk about them with entrepreneur and vinologist Peter Heerschap. After all, what should we imagine Winter Rosé to be? Peter: 'The flavour profile is actually opposite to that of rosé you drink in summer. At the same time, it still remains a dry rosé.'

In our minds, we quickly replace our cool fresh glass with a blush By a glass of juicy, chewy or even some big boned rosé from blue grapes - because rosé is always made from blue varieties but the skin soaking is shorter than for red wine. Peter: "Winter Rosé is also preferably drunk warmer than normal rosé, namely around 12 degrees Celsius. He continues: 'The nose is expressive and spicy with hints of red fruit jams. On the palate, the rosé is round and layered and well balanced with mild acidity.
