The crystal glasses from Bunzlau have beautiful decorations. This summer series with white flowers will make you happy even before the wine is poured. Bunzlau Castle is a Polish brand, named after the town of the same name in Lower Silesia province, still German territory before 1945. There is a long tradition of making pottery and glass here.

Side table Ann is light and airy, yet sturdy. You might not expect that from the material. For it is made of... cardboard! FSC-certified honeycomb cardboard of 16 millimetres to be precise, which you can assemble without screws or glue. Made on a small scale in the Netherlands and available in yellow or blue or with printed flowers by Vincent van Gogh.

Carafe art

Scandinavian minimalist style can be seen in this carafe from Swedish brand Sagaform. Hand-blown and with a sturdy round stopper made of oak. Decanting and decanting both stand for pouring wine into a carafe, but let's not forget the difference in purpose, i.e. removing something versus adding something: decanting is done to let the lees settle at the bottom, decanting is to oxygenate the wine.
