WINELIFE travels the world in search of the finest accessories to make every wine moment a little celebration. - TEXT + IMAGE EDITORS

MultifunctionalWhat a clever design and then such a beautiful arch shape too! You can use Umbra's Vinola wine rack to store five bottles of wine. With two or three you can even build a wine tower out of it. When the bottles are empty, you can optionally use the rack as a tray for snacks, or for your towels.

Tasty appetite

MultifunctionalThe colour name 'signal red' attracts us to this corkscrew. It is from Pulltex, a wine accessories brand, and has a reinforced spiral and a handle made of cast steel. With that extra heaviness and the double siphon mechanism, it quickly opens any bottle without breaking the cork. We almost forgot to mention the handy serrated blade for cutting the foil from the bottle neck.

The Bernadotte collection was inspired by a 1938 silver milk jug designed by Swedish prince Sigvard Bernadotte. The picture shows the crystal glass for white wine, but there is a whole series of tableware with those elegant ribbed lines from the Art Deco period. The tableware is made by Georg Jensen, which has been one of Denmark's most prestigious design brands for 100 years.

Golden Eye

This gold-coloured side table will always fit into your home. A sparkling Italian bottle of Nebbiolo on top and the picture is complete! This timeless design is by Massimo Castagna. He says: "If I had to choose one word to describe my work, it would be 'freedom'. I don't want to feel bound by clichés, but strive for the expressiveness of form and material.' You can choose from clear brass only or with a top of Italian marble, Calacatta Vagli Oro to be precise.
