Even more than usual, we are going to go wild these months. This can be very intimate or with a big party, but bubbles are definitely on the cards. For WINELIFE we tasted sparkling rosés. Charles-Camille Heidsieck (1822-1893) was a bon vivant, dandy, gentleman and adventurer, and, as an ambitious entrepreneur, afraid of nothing and no one. He chose his own course with which he inspired all his successors. The current chef de cave Cyril Brun. WINELIFE spoke to him during the presentation of Champagne Charlie 2017.

We are happy to make space once more for the Vic family of Domaine Preignes le Vieux. You see, they have started a new range of amphora wines there. We wanted to know all about that. Wine journalist Charlotte van Zummeren therefore travelled to the Languedoc again.

Not enough grapes next door? Chateau Amsterdam works with grape farmers from all over Europe. The winemaker ensures the right blends of the fruit brought in. In doing so, the kitchen team makes appropriate food. At the opening of the cultivated urban winery we were allowed to join them for dinner. And we saw that it was good.
