Burgundy

BurgundyWe first saw Simone Doesburg's ceramic artworks at Dutch Design Week and have been fans for years! In winter, we choose burgundy plates, which match our wine glass nicely. By combining porcelain with semi-transparent coloured glaze, Simone's tableware has countless shades - just like wine actually.

Cutlery to go

Knife, fork, spoon, straw: check! Also hide a bottle of wine next to your home-cooked meal for work or on the go. This four-piece set of cutlery is better than disposable cutlery anyway, but it's also well thought out: lightweight, long handles and handy features. For example, the fork's 'fork' design is wider and deeper to make scooping up easy. We think the steel straw with cleaning brush is the best discovery.

Garden colours

BurgundyKiki van Eijk has been making her mark on Dutch design for 20 years and you can now buy tea towels from her. Especially for her exhibition at TextielMuseum Tilburg, the designer was inspired by the vegetables from her vegetable garden. Tomatoes, courgettes and radishes steal the show on three canvases in which thin yarns are mixed in five colours.
