Aveine, a French Wine-Tech innovation

Aveine, founded in July 2016 in Paris, is the result of the symbiosis between French wine heritage and new technologies. Based on discovery, pleasure and sharing. Aveine is a true "art de vivre" brand. Combining technology and tradition, Aveine's founders Nicolas Naigeon (CEO) set the mission to facilitate the understanding of wine by democratising the art of tasting. By freeing themselves from technical knowledge and reducing preparation time. All with the help of a simple and powerful object. - TEXT + IMAGE AVEINE

Aveine, a connected object to aerate your wine

AveineThe first connected wine aerator on the market, Aveine provides the necessary micro-oxygenation to each bottle. So that wine lovers can enjoy their wines in the best conditions. After uncorking the bottle, you place the Aveine aerator in the neck and scan the label to find out the aeration recommendation for optimum flavour. The application then indicates the duration that would have been required for aeration in a decanter. Between 1 and 24 hours, while the aerator, connected via Bluetooth. will immediately reproduce this aeration by micro-oxygenation. " It does not aerate the contents of the bottle, but each poured glass benefits from its own aeration. It can replicate up to 24 hours of aeration instantly." No refills or pumps needed, Aveine sucks air out of the chamber and back into the wine. Some wines require more aeration than others. Such as younger wines, natural wines that have received less input. Or tannic wines that soften oxygen.

A database in constant construction

Aveine currently relies on 7,0,000 reference wines, but the database is growing every day. "If the label is not yet entered, you can do that in a few minutes and the algorithm will give the first indications of aeration. The teams then come in and verify and validate the information."

Few features:

  • AveinePerfect and immediate aeration
  • Only the served wine is aerated, the rest of the bottle is kept
  • You can serve multiple glasses, with different aeration levels
  • You no longer need a decanter
  • Based on patented chemical-free technology
