'And when you find out why we are unique?'

Sherry Wines are perfect wines for any occasion, from aperitif to dinner, from traditional cuisine to avant-garde. Because of its varied range, it is claimed that there is a suitable Sherry Wine for every taste and every occasion: from tightly dry to very sweet and everything in between. The wines are great to drink on their own, but also come incredibly well paired with dishes. They are also particularly well suited as a base for the most delicious cocktails.

Because there is so much to tell and learn about these unique wines, there is now a free online Sherry Academy launched. This academy is intended for anyone who wants to learn (more) about Sherry Wines, Manzanilla and Sherry Azines. The academy consists of two different courses: basic and advanced. In the online Sherry Academy, you will learn about the interesting history of this area with Protected Designation of Origin. The e-learning platform offers both young and old, wine lovers and professionals the opportunity to learn more about this area and its unique products. In just a few hours, you will learn the basics about topics such as origin and production, but also everything about the different styles of Sherry, their distinctive characteristics and, of course, wine-food combinations. You will also learn all about the traditional Criaderas and Solera system, an ageing system that combines wines from different vintages.

After obtaining the accredited basic certificate, it is possible to develop yourself further and take the advanced course. For available courses and more information, visit www.sherryacademy.org.
