The world's first cross-border appellation! Maasvallei Limburg is the region of origin that lies in both Belgium and the Netherlands. Karel and Tine Henckens-Linssen make their wines there in the picturesque village of Aldeneyck, which have been named Best Belgian Wine several times.

How it came to be? Karel Henckens grew up in a family of fruit growers, but later discovered his real passion: viticulture. He planted the first vines in an old orchard in 2001. This was followed a year later by the vineyard on the Meuse, a sloping hillside against the old Roman heir road. Could the rain of prizes be due to the maximum yield of 50 hectolitres per hectare? Because of the magical touch of the winemakers? Or still by the ideal terroir?
