The study found that higher-educated people live healthier lives than lower-educated people: they smoke less, exercise more, eat more healthily and suffer less from obesity. But, notable exception: among regular drinkers, more are higher educated. It ties in with what we wrote in the previous WINELIFE following the study on the harmful effects of alcohol: even though we actually know very well that it is not healthy, alcohol consumption has become part of our lifestyle.
