'Wine Bar of the Year' election is up again!

Amsterdam, 27 November 2024 - It's time again for the 'Wine bar of the Year' election! For the ninth time in a row, the election will take place, and more than 150 wine bars will compete for the coveted title of 'Wine bar of the Year 2024'. Each year, the competition starts with a public round in which wine lovers can cast a vote for their favourite wine bar. Followed by mystery visits from the expert jury. Last year, wine bar Oocker in Amsterdam managed to take first place - which establishment will get your vote and become the 2024 winner?

Of the 25 wine bars with the most votes, the expert jury will choose 10 wine bars based on their online preformance that will advance to the next round. The 10 nominees will be visited unannounced by the jury in the last month of the year. You can vote for your favourite wine bar from 26 November to 15 December via wine-bars.co.uk. During previous editions, more than 12,000 consumers cast a vote. Not only the participating wine bars go up for a prize, but also those who cast a vote makens for a unique prize. In fact, a winner will be randomly selected from all voters to win a South African wine tasting at his or her favourite wine bar!

Expert jury
This year, the expert jury will again consist of experts from the food and wine industry. They will again judge the participants on wine list, atmosphere and service. Wine-bars.co.uk is an initiative of Pitch PR, the PR agency specialising in the marketing and promotion of wine regions, hospitality and food.
