The Protected Designation of Origin region welcomes India Donisi and Annemiek Hummelink as its new ambassadors. India and Annemiek dive into the versatile world of D.O. Sherry Wines and share all their findings on their Social Media channels. They show the versatility of different Sherry wines, test Sherry cocktails and cook the most delicious recipes with Sherry. Through this way, they make Sherry Wines known to a large and younger audience.
You may be thinking, why Sherry Wines? It is a wonderful product that deserves more attention. Especially since the versatility this wine has to offer is endless. Different styles are produced, from tightly dry to seductively sweet, so there is always something for everyone. Sherry, like all other wines, can be drunk at different times. Annemiek loves learning more and more about wine, especially since she recently became an ambassador for Sherry wines. Drinking a glass of wine is therefore one of her favourite things to do, and it is especially the versatility that appeals to her so much about Sherry Wines. "I am really looking forward to delving into D.O. Sherry Wines in the coming months. My cupboards are full of different kinds of beautiful Sherry Wines and I can't wait to taste, describe and share them. You can make delicious cocktails with it (which I will share too!) and it truly adds to the taste of food. So turn on those senses and follow me on my Sherry journey."
India Donisi is better known in the wine world as Wine Spicegirl. Early in her life, she developed a keen interest in wine. After several wine courses, the vinologist training at the Wine Academy, years of work as a sommelier and WSET 3, which she completed with merit achieved, she is a true wine connoisseur. With her international platform Winespicegirl, launched in 2020, she inspires a wide audience to give wine a chance. Her passion for Sherry has slowly grown over the years and when India travelled to Jerez with Pitch PR in June 2021, she knew for sure: "I am a huge Sherry fan! Great honour that I was asked to become a Sherry ambassador. I will fulfil this role with great love and look forward to inspiring my audience with the variety of Sherry Wines."
