In Italy's DOC Soave, wine is made from garganega grapes on volcanic and limestone soils. The four Castagnedi brothers - Armando, Tiziano, Paolo and Massimo - of Tenuta Sant'Antonio have set themselves up as ambassadors of this wine region.

1. What is so special about Soave?

Tiziano Castagnedi: 'Soave is one of the important areas of origin in the Italian wine landscape, both because of historical and oenological characteristics. Its popularity had waned somewhat, but its unique white wine was served at the tables of Europe's greatest families and kingdoms. It is also our own history, we were born in one of the iconic municipalities of the provenance area.'
