Who doesn't want to walk along vineyards, swim with a view of hills full of grapes, sleep in clean nature? In Italy, oenotourism is an important part of the tourism industry. For wine lovers, Piedmont is a destination that exudes so much beauty and luxury that you need a good glass to catch your breath.

In 2008, the owners of the Italian ice cream shop chain GROM bought this beautiful piece of land in the municipality of Costigliole d'Asti, on the border area of the Monferrato and Langhe wine regions. They established farm Mura Mura there. The intention was to grow fruit for their sorbets. It became fruit for wine.
The 30-hectare land proved too big to grow only fruit, so the two ambitious friends turned it into an oenotourism destination. And what a one. Their slick guesthouses next to the vineyards, restaurant and hotel with spa Le Marne, have already featured in several architecture magazines. Staying at the winery, but the luxury version.
Vanaf €400 per night.
