Under the wings of Louis Jadot, wine is made at five estates. In Burgundy, Beaujolais and, since 2013, Oregon, US. In total, they own 266 hectares, 117 of which are in the Côte d'Or, the heart of Burgundy. Most are certified organic, the rest in conversion. Recently, they started working with larger barrels for ageing, "for less impact of the wood. Managing director Thibault Gagey (the family's Gagey has been running the house for more than 60 years) also explained that global warming is in Burgundy's favour, but "weather conditions are less and less predictable. Moreover, he was honest about the prices of Burgundy wines: 'It's getting too expensive. That's why we want to deliver top quality at a reasonable price.'
