Sangria, the ultimate holiday feeling in a glass!

Sangria, the ultimate holiday feeling in a glass!

Sangria, the word alone conjures up images of balmy evenings, sun-drenched terraces and the convivial clinking of glasses in good company. Originally sangria comes from the Spanish sangre (=blood) and this is reflected in the deep ruby colour of the classic red variety. But in 2025, we are going all out for light, fresh and fruity. For our exploration of the hippest drink for the garden, balcony or terrace, we at WINELIFE ended up with white Sangria.

Since its flavour is largely determined by the wine used, it is important that it matches the summery character of Sangria. Our choice is the Undurraga Sauvignon Blanc Bio from Chile. This organic wine from the sunny Valle del Maule is made from 100% sauvignon blanc, and you can taste it. Think sparkling aromas of lime, grapefruit and that delicious green-spicy edge that makes this grape so irresistible.

Crisp, mineral and refreshingly intense: just what you want on a hot summer day. Mix it with fresh fruit, a splash of sparkling water and a good dose of sunshine, and you have the white sangria of today. Lively, light-footed and full of summer vibes. Fancy it? Score this organic summer hit at AH.
