Did you know that Italy is the wine country with the most indigenous grape varieties? They have ± 600 registered and the piedirosso is one of them.
It is a wine with spice that provides with a tingle on the tongue. It is firm, but also fruity and playful. You taste ripe forest fruit, raspberry with an accent of smoky mocha and such a bunch of violets. The tannins prompt you to drink it with something fine from Italian cuisine, for example osso buco, or for vegans, a portobello with mozzarella and thyme. Taste it!
