On Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 October, the very first edition of the Chateau Leyden wine festival will take place. Dozens of winemakers from all over the world will introduce you to their amazing wines. A great and wine-rich weekend in one of the most beautiful historical cities of the Netherlands, our beautiful Leiden.

During the wine festival, travel effortlessly from the enchanted south-west of France to the rugged hills of northern Italy, and feel free to make another tasting stop on the Chilean coast. Dare to dance to our house DJ or visit our champagne & oyster bar where Canadian singer-songwriter Brian James will ease you in.
The BBQ virtuosos of Smokey Goodness, known from the BBQ books and restaurants Black Smoke, will ensure that tasting is not on an empty stomach, of course also suitable for people who prefer not to eat meat. For anyone wanting to dive deeper into the world of wine & food, register vinologist and author of the book 'Wine Fest' will Maarten van den Dries several workshops. Maarten will also, together with several winegrowers, organise a real wine & food dinner for which space is limited.
It promises to be a great and fun weekend at the beautiful industrial premises of Scheltema in the Leiden city centre that no wine lover should miss!

Wine festival Chateau Leyden takes place at Scheltema in Leiden at Marktsteeg 1.
Parking is available nearby in the Lammermarkt or Langegracht car parks.
